Our Service includes compliance risk assessments, AI-generated policy documents, a compliance management dashboard, and free compliance tools such as our Privacy Policy Generator, Terms of Service Generator, and Cookie Policy Generator.

3. Important Disclaimer

ComplyZen provides informational compliance guidance powered by AI. This is not legal advice. ComplyZen is not a law firm, and our AI-generated assessments and policies should not be considered a substitute for professional legal counsel. We strongly recommend having all generated policies reviewed by a qualified attorney before implementation. Compliance requirements vary by jurisdiction and industry, and you are responsible for ensuring your business meets all applicable legal obligations.

4. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information, maintain the security of your account credentials, notify us immediately of any unauthorized access, and accept responsibility for all activities under your account.

5. Subscription and Payment

ComplyZen offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. Prices may change with 30 days' prior notice.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations, generate fraudulent or misleading compliance documents, attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the AI systems, share your account credentials with unauthorized parties, or use automated systems to access the Service beyond normal use.

7. Intellectual Property

The ComplyZen platform, including its design, code, and AI models, is our intellectual property. However, the compliance policies and assessments generated for your account belong to you. You may use, modify, and distribute your generated documents as you see fit.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ComplyZen shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any regulatory fines, penalties, or legal consequences arising from your use of our generated content.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease, but we may retain certain data as required by law.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
